Martha L. Moore

Martha L. Moore, 79, of Big Spring, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025.  She will lie in-state from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Big Spring, with family visitation from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Trinity Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

Martha was born December 9, 1945 in Lufkin, Texas to Royal Tucker and Myrtle Mae (Grant) Duncan. In her younger years she loved to drag race, enjoyed street rods, and could hold her own with the best of them. She worked at Hemphill Wells, and at the Big Spring raceway concession stands, until she found her calling as a Medical Technologist for the next 45 years, (most of that time spent at Scenic Mountain Medical Center in Big Spring. Martha also raised paint horses, enjoyed painting, sewing and quilting, but most of all she loved to be with her family and spoil her grandchildren. She was also very active in her beloved Trinity Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Autry Moore; children, Kasi Walker (Doby), Molly Rupard (Robby), and Lance Moore (Tracy); grandchildren, Amber Fry, Kodi Dixon (Ivy), Kaci Walker, Lindsay Wagner, MaLinda Pope (Dustin), Mykel Wagner, MaKayla Moore, Madison Mariani (Rocco), and Mylee Moore; great-grandchildren, Conner, Kenzi, Tucker, Jalynn, Karli, Kayson, Kyler, and Kimbree; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Tucker and Myrtle Mae Duncan; and siblings, Mary Scott and Royal Duncan.
