Margie Ann Ray Love (11/12/1929 to 01/25/2014) Margie Ann Love went to be with the LORD on January 25, 2014 at Parkview Nursing Home in Big Spring, TX. She took her last breath on earth, then her next one in the presence of Jesus Christ her LORD. Margie was born to Leonard and Doris Ray in Greeley, CO on November 12, 1929. Margie attended grade school thru high school and 2 years of college in Greeley. She married the love of her life, Gene Love, on June 26, 1949 in La Salle, CO. The LORD blessed her with 84 years to walk this earth being a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great- great grandmother. She moved to Midland with her husband and family in 1955 to begin their legacy in the restaurant business and gun clubs. Margie and Gene moved to Colorado in 1993. They lived in Glen Haven and Brush. In 2005, they moved back to Midland to be closer to family. Before Gene's death they moved to Amarillo to be with their daughter, Pat, and family. Due to illness she moved back to Midland to live with her son Mike and his wife, Linda.She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and dear husband. The family wants to send out a very special THANK YOU to Jana and Rosie ofMidland Hospice, her nurses and aides of Hospice of Texas, and to Parkview Nursing Home of Big Spring. Margie is survived by a son Mike and wife Linda of Midland, daughters Pat Love Watson and husband Keith of Amarillo, Debbie Love Gaines and husband Bob of St. Lawrence. Margie has 7 grand children, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, a very special friend Jerry Echols and wife Sandra, and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from2:00-4:00PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, 3800 N. Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79710 to celebrate Margie’s life. In lieu of flowers, family request memorial donations to their favorite charities or Hospice of Midland, PO Box 2626, Midland, TX 79702.
