Margaret Eileen Ridgway

Margaret Eileen Martin Ridgway went on to glory Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the age of 84. A Memorial Service for Margaret will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, August 21 at the 14th & Main Church of Christ in Big Spring, Texas.

Margaret was born in Big Spring, Texas to William Boynton Martin (Preach) and Mary Grace Phillips Martin on July 28, 1937. Margaret attended West Texas State University and graduated with a degree in Physical Education. She met her husband, Roger, while at college and they married August 4, 1956.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Roger and her parents.

Margaret had a passion for the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. She had a long career as a women’s softball player and she loved singing with the Heaven Generation Singers and Sweet Adelines.

She leaves behind her three children: Patti La Bombard (David), Nancy Collins (Doug) and John Ridgway (Angela); nine grandchildren: Patrick Hughes, Wesley Burnett, Skylar Farr, India Morris, Robert Bills, Melloney Burnett, Brent Burnett, Latrecia Jordan and Amanda Cullum; 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that you send donations to the Alzheimer’s Research.
