Maple Lowe, 40, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, September 6, 2001, in a local hospital. Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, September 10, 2001, at Mt. Olive Memorial Park with Rev. Dudley Mullins, pastor of East Fourth Street Baptist Church, officiating. She was born on December 23, 1960 in Riverside, California. Maple graduated from Buffalo High School in Buffalo, Missouri. She had been a resident of Big Spring for 20 years and had volunteered at the Hospitality House/Crisis Closet and at the Salvation Army. She was a member of East Fourth Street Baptist Church. Survivors include her mother, Inez Lowe of Joplin, Missouri; six brothers, Frank Lowe of Andrews, Dale Lowe of Odessa, Marvin Lowe, Raymond Lowe and Milton Lowe all of Buffalo, Missouri, and James Lowe of Utah; four sisters, Maybelle Lowe of Buffalo, Missouri, Gloria Lowe of Montana, Edith Lowe of Louisiana, and JoAnn Lowe of Springfield, Missouri.
