Mandi Michelle Porter

Mandi Michelle Porter (Carlson) a beautiful blue eyed girl, was born on April 13th, 1977 in Midland, Texas to Lynn Carlson and Diana Carlson (Reynolds). Mandi left our world on October 1, 2022 to her eternal home.  A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland.

Mandi was a caring, compassionate, loving, giving, soft spoken person. She loved to help others. Mandi worked as a CNA, but her love for children lead her to later became a childcare provider and then to her favorite job of all, a Homemaker. Home with her babies was her best job of all.

Keith Wayne Porter and Mandi were united in Holy Matrimony on November 15, 2008.  They had two children together, Brandon Wayne Porter and Daythan Carter Porter.

If you knew Mandi, you knew her kids were her world and in close second, her fur babies. It seems the more she had the happier she was. Mandi enjoyed crafting, especially making wreaths for her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bill Brand; her paternal grandparents, Clarence and Dorothy Carlson; bonus grandparents, LG & Cathy Reynolds and Weldon and Verta Hardegree; and her aunt Sherry Brookshire.

She is survived by her husband Keith Porter along with their two children Brandon Wayne Porter and Daythan Carter Porter.  A daughter, Sara Lee Ann Ward and partner Patrick Redd; bonus son, Bubba Wayne Porter and wife Samantha; mother Diana Reynolds and bonus dad, Randy Reynolds; father Carl Lynn Carlson and bonus mom, Becky; sister Carlisa Gills and husband Kevin; brother Shawn Reynolds and wife Meagan; sister Kyla Berta (Carlson) and husband Michael; brother Tyler Reynolds and wife Kalli; and her maternal grandmother Mary Brand; brother in laws, James Porter and Michael Porter.

She is also survived by nieces and nephews Jaylynn White and husband Deagan, Braden Gray and fiancé Stephanie Portman, Kyle Reynolds and wife Caitlin, Abigail Reynolds, David Reynolds, Jaden Gills and Naila Herrera, Colton Gills and wife Carolyn, Brooklyn Berta and Kaitlyn Berta.

Great nieces and nephews Rawson White, Brigham White, Kross White, Aurora Gills, Emma Reynolds, Samson Reynolds Sebastian, Michael, Dillon, Austin and Carli Porter; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In Mandi’s memory, she asked that you donate to the charity of your choice.
