The exciting moments of pregnancy have turned to sorrow and heartfelt loss with the death of our baby girl, Madyx Erin Simpson of Stanton. Madyx was born on March 17, 2016 at 4:54pm and died peacefully in the arms of her loving parents at 5:30pm at Odessa Regional Hospital.Madyx is the daughter of Lorie and Jermaine Simpson, of Stanton. She is survived by her parents, siblings, Devan and Mya; Maternal grandparents, Cindy Dillard of Stanton and David Dillard of Austin; Paternal Grandmother, Kim Simpson, of Dallas; Aunt and Uncle, Micki and Chad Dillard of Stanton; Uncle, Tony Simpson, of Dallas; Great Uncle and Aunt, Gene and Gayle Wheeler of Stanton; Great Grandmother, Mary Jane Dillard of Buchanan Dam; and three special boy cousins, Braxton and Ryder Dillard and Wheeler Cook all of Stanton.We would like to invite our friends and family to join us for a visitation in her honor 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, March 21, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery Chapel in Stanton with Brother David Harp officiating, followed by a reception at First Baptist Church in Stanton.In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate a donation in her honor be made to ABC Ministry c/o Diane Eggemeyer, PO Box 65, Midkiff, Texas 79755 as they helped us so much during this time of grief.Such a huge thank you for the outpouring of love, support and prayers from all of our family, friends and entire community of Stanton. We would also like to thank Odessa Regional Hospital staff, doctors, nurses, NICU and everyone else involved in our grief; specifically nurses Shirley and Ana, two AMAZING examples of nurses. Madyx touched their lives just as much as she touched ours. Also a special thank you to the staff of Regional Perinatal Center, particularly Dr. Batallico and FNP Cricket Seigler for their compassion and direction during this horrible time in our lives, without your guidance we would have never been able to get through this. ,
