Sad news to receive. I was fortunate to see Mack in May of 2020, back in the old hometown. Probably the first time since the 10 year HS reunion. I think he was there. BUT... I could be wrong. Regardless. Many of his entourage in tow. He enthusiastically introduced me to all, through out the short evening. Each one courteous, respectful and engaging. A testament to who Mack was. The best growing up memories with Mack? Cruising small town Nebraska on Saturday night. GUP. Your were there. Last and not least. Mack was the Bass Guitar Player in our HS Rock Band!!! Mack, myself, his cousin Ed and my brother Pat along with Jack. 'The Wheels Of Fire', practiced in the basement of his uncle Johns' hardware store. So....Here it is. R.I.P. Mack. My condolences to all who love you. Family. Friends. Comrades and long lost classmates.

Chris and Andi and your families, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Mack and I spent a lot of time together through the years, graduating high school together, college together and then traveling to many states on a whim after college. He is my best friend and I will miss him dearly. We wish we could be with you on Tuesday but we can't, so we will be with you in spirit. Take comfort in the fact that he was a class guy and a good father.

My heart broke when I read about Mack’s passing. He was a dear friend of ours. We’d often go fishing and have Cookouts at Moss creek Lake or our home. He was one of the coolest men I know. He will be missed. Many prayers for his children and grandchildren which whom he loved so much. love and prayers…
