On Monday, December 20, Luis Frescaz, 65, was called to join our Father in Heaven. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother to those who loved him most.He was born February 6, 1945 in Pep, TX to Librado and Bentura (Gomez) Frescaz. He moved to Midland with his family in 1986 where his family still resides.We celebrate a man who had a passion for family and tradition. He was a hard working man who loved to drive a truck and work with his hands. His passion for life was evident when vacationing with his family near the mountains of New Mexico or the shores of the Gulf Coast. Before his retirement due to disability, he owned and operated Frescaz Hotshot & Trucking.He is survived by his wife of forty three years, Lydia Zamora Frescaz; children, Becky and Greg Sotelo, Chris and Maira Frescaz, Tony and Jennifer Frescaz, Lee Frescaz and Bradley Frescaz; daughters, Cynthia Frescaz and Monica Frescaz, both of Colorado Springs, CO. He was a grandfather to Rachel Sotelo, Jasmine Frescaz, Nathan Frescaz, Benjamin Frescaz, Anna Frescaz and Ethan Frescaz. He is also survived by brother, Manuel and sister, Ynez Velardez. He also had seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren in Colorado Springs, CO.He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Onesima Teel, his daughter Angela Frescaz and his son Corey Frescaz.A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm, Sunday, December 26, 2010 at the George Price Funeral Home in Levelland. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 27, 2010 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Levelland.In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The National Kidney Foundation or the American Red Cross – Military Assistance.,
