Lowell “Bud” Hart, 85, of Big Spring, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Dorn Cemetery in Colorado City, Texas with Ken McMeans, pastor of College Baptist Church, officiating.
Bud was born July 16, 1937 in Big Spring, Texas to Homer C. Hart and Mary Alice Bassham Hart. He married Vivian Elizabeth Harris in Colorado City, Texas. He was a member of College Baptist Church. He loved woodworking and volunteering at the church.
He is survived by two daughters: Tamera Sneed (Ricky) and Debra Lewis (Sammy) and one son: John Hart, all of Big Spring; grandchildren: Cody Sneed (Dawn) Daniel Sneed, Jennifer Ausbie (Gwan), Jessica Brigham (Alex) and Stormy Thomas (Kyle); great-grandchildren: Madison Sneed, Mason Sneed, Hudson Sneed, Kendall Lewis, Kacen and Kai Ausbie, Tayten, Rowan and Landry Thomas, and Michael Brigham; one brother: Joe Michal Hart (Jennifer) of Sweetwater and one sister: Dannie Mac Sparks of Tifton, Georgia.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister Gayle Hamby.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to College Baptist Church, Alzheimer’s Association or favorite charity.
