Louise Coleman

Louise Coleman, 98, of Ackerly, Texas, died on Tuesday, August 5, 2003, in a local nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 4:30 PM Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park, Big Spring, with Rev. John Bill Hedrick, officiating.     She was born on February 25, 1905, in Swann, Texas and married V. J. Coleman on July 4, 1925 in Anson, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1991.     Mrs. Coleman moved to Ackerly after marrying in 1925 and had lived there since that time. She and her late husband enjoyed traveling and were active in the Air Stream Club.     She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ackerly and active in the United Methodist Women.     Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dudley Ray and Zula Coleman; one grandson, Dudley Michael Coleman and wife, Sharon; one granddaughter, JoAnne Coleman Welling and husband, Mike; one great granddaughter, Kimberly Hughes and husband, Wes; and one great great grandson, Colten Hughes all of Ackerly.      She was also preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; 2 brothers and 2 half brothers.                The family suggests memorials to: Lubbock Childrens Home, P.O.
