Linda Ann Burns

Linda Ann Burns, 74, was born on May 28^th, 1951, and passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with COPD and Pneumonia on November 27, 2025.  Her sharp wit, sarcastic sense of humor, and stubborn spirit will be deeply missed.

Linda was the oldest of the four Cook girls raised in Buckner Baptist Home for Children – Dallas, Texas.  Linda started her journey alone when she left Buckner at 15. Linda is survived by her husband of 39 years Darrell Burns; daughter Zandie Gorsuch, her husband Craig, and their two children; daughter Jeanie Bayer and her three children; and 5 great-grandchildren; She is also survived by 3 younger sisters, Sandra Smith and her son Casey; Sharon Paulson, her husband Olav, and their 4 children, 2 bonus children, and numerous grandchildren; and Deborah Turman, her husband Donald, and their blended family of 6 children, numerous grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
