Maxine passed away on Wednesday June 15th with her family by her side at Manor Park-Cowden Cottage in Midland, TX
She was born on April 16, 1931 to Leonard Breeding and Bernice Champion in Lamesa, Tx. Maxine grew up in Lamesa, TX and graduated from Lamesa High School. Maxine married Joseph Wallis Jungman on November 1, 1949 and they had five children together. Rebecca Brockington, Ramona Qualls, Leonard Jungman, David Jungman, and Angela Jungman. J.W. Jungman passed away in 1978 and she later married Mac McGlothlin and they moved to Encinitas, California. After the death of her husband Mac and daughter Angela, Maxine moved back to Midland, TX to be with her family.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J.W. and her second husband Mac, and her daughter Angela. She is survived by her children, Rebecca Brockington, Ramona & husband Ron Qualls, Leonard & wife Virginia Jungman, David & wife Michele Jungman, ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren who she loved and talked about all the time.
Maxine was a wonderful cook and enjoyed painting beautiful paintings. She was a beautician/hairdresser for many years and loved the friendships that grew with all of her clients over the life of her career. Maxine enjoyed traveling, dancing, and was an active member of the Garden Club and Newcomers in California.
Maxine will have a small memorial – gathering of family and friends on July 1st at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory where the family will visit from 1:00 – 2:45 pm. The family will then go to Resthaven Memorial Park for a private burial of her ashes at 3:00 pm.
