Leon Davis, 85, of Casper, Wyoming, formerly of Big Spring, died on Monday, February 18, 2002, at his residence. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Friday, February 22, 2002, at the Coahoma Church of Christ with Russ Mullins, minister, officating. Interment will follow at Coahoma Cemetery. He was born on June 29, 1916 in Claude, Texas and married Nancy Bea Stewart on September 2, 1939 in Amarillo, Texas. The son of Frank Allison and Lena May (Jones) Davis, Leon was raised and went to school in Texas. He moved to Big Spring in 1958 and then moved to Casper, Wyoming in July 1990. He was sales manager for Broughton Implement Company here in Big Spring. He enjoyed playing games, raising tomatoes and traveling. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Bea Davis of Casper, Wyoming; one son, Monty Davis of Casper, Wyoming; one daughter, Nancy Kay Burns of Big Spring; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
