Lee Roy Skeeter O’Brien

Lee Roy Skeeter O’Brien, he embodied the West Texas (Good Ole Boy) passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, November 25, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

He married Durinda King, September 23, 1967 in Midland Tx. They had four children. Larenda Harrison and husband, Curtis Harrison, Malinda Sparks and fiance’, Brian Bruns, Kathran O’Brien, David O’Brien, 8 Grandchildren, Annie Harrison, Heather Sampson and husband, Matt Sampson, Ashley O’Brien, Hannah and Madeline Sparks, Seth Sparks, Evan Sparks, Victoria Harrison.

Skeeter was an exceptional Cement Finisher. He was the best and hardest worker at his profession. He never met a stranger and he could put a smile on anyone’s face. His favorite past times were quoting scripture from the Bible, loving, spending time with his grandchildren, and especially country dancing with his beautiful bride.

Survivors include his wife, Durinda O’Brien, his children Larenda Harrison, Malinda Sparks, Kathran O’Brien, and David O’Brien. 8 Grandchildren and one Great grandchild, one sister, Deborah Hix, and one brother Steven O’Brien.

Preceded in death by his father, Roy Lee O’Brien, mother, Lucritia Marie Volente, brother David O’Brien and a sister Patricia Bennett.
