LaDell Jumper was born February 4, 1931 in Florence, Texas. While in school at Albany, Texas, she met Gene Jumper. The two married on December 23, 1949.
LaDell was an accountant and her last place of employment was Dinero Operating. She worked for them since 1983 and retired in 1995, but continued to work part time until 2020.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Gene, in June of 2020; her parents, two sisters and their husbands, one brother and his wife; her sister by love and her husband; and other extended family.
She is survived by her daughter Jan Otho and her husband Jimmy, their oldest son Casey and his wife Catherine, their daughters Berkley and Jerzee, youngest son Michael and his wife Amy and their two sons Max and Ben and daughter Charlie; her son Jimmy Jumper and his wife Lucy; numerous nephews and nieces and many beloved friends she considered family.
Viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Bellview Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Bellview Baptist Church, with Pastor Raymond Revilla Jr, Manuel Arellano and Tom Pinkerton, officiating. Private graveside service will be held at a later date.
