Koi Wrigley Alvarez, 2 months, of Midland, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10:00AM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel.

Koi was born on December 13, 2020 to Jessica Martin and Jacob Alvarez in Midland, TX. He was perfect. There was nothing in the world he didn’t love. He enjoyed listening and watching his big brother play. He liked strolls outside, his mama’s kisses, his Buba’s cuddles & when his daddy blew on his belly. His favorite time of the day was bath time & when his Nana would rock him in our rocking chair while they watched cartoons.

Koi is survived by his parents Jessica Martin and Jacob Alvarez of Midland; his brother Kamen Alvarez of Midland; his brother Jett Alvarez and his sister Zayleigh Alvarez; his grandparents Mark & Becky Martin of Ballinger; his grandparents Ricky & Becky of Goliad; his grandparents Edward & Blanca Alvarez; his aunts and uncles Jeromy & Bridget Tidwell of Midland, Mark & Samantha Martin of Midland, Scott & Jena Rivera of Ballinger Max & Haley Knight of Goliad, and Gabriel & Jacinta Pineda; his numerous cousins, Matthew Tidwell, Isaac Tidwell, Chloe Martin, Lance Martin, Shelby Martin, Angelina Roberts, Seth Tidwell, Emma Martin, Ashton Martin, Lukas Rivera, Stormii Knight, and Jules Pineda; Great Grandma Maria Alvarez and Great Grandpa L.C Mitchell and several aunts and uncles, all of Lubbock, TX.

Koi is preceded in death by his great grandparents Harold (Fuzz) & Ann Hudman, his great aunt Tammy Bullock and his cousins Jacob Roberts and Ayrielle Tidwell.
