Julie Kathleen Shapira, born February 23, 1946, passed away on November 17, 2021. Julie was born in Houston and moved to Midland in 1953. She attended St. Ann’s, Midland High, and Texas Tech University, and later worked in retail at Lord & Taylor and Neiman Marcus in Dallas.

She is survived by her brother Michael and wife Kathie, her nieces and their husbands Jill and Tony Young, Laine and Travis Torres; and great-nephew Tyler Bracken.

Julie was predeceased by her parents, Jake and Mildred Shapira and brother Andrew Shapira.

A private graveside service will be held by the family.
