Jordan Micah Doughty, 42, of Midland, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. He was born May 20, 1983, in Waco, Texas, to Marilyn and James Doughty.
Jordan grew up in Riesel, Texas, and graduated from Riesel High School in 2001, where he proudly played football. He went on to attend Texas A&M University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Development in 2005. While at A&M, he met the love of his life, Pamela Rae Floyd, and the two were married on March 5, 2011.
Jordan was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He found his greatest joy in time spent outdoors with his son, Connor—fishing, hunting, and camping together. A passionate Aggie through and through, Jordan never missed a chance to cheer on the Texas A&M Aggies, whether football, basketball, baseball, or any other sport. For Jordan, Aggie games were more than just sporting events; they were opportunities to gather with family and friends.
Professionally, Jordan dedicated his career to agricultural equipment sales. He worked with Holt Cat in Waco before spending the last decade with South Plains Implement. Jordan was deeply respected by his customers and colleagues alike, known for his knowledge, dedication, and genuine care for the farming and ranching community he served.
Jordan was preceded in death by his grandparents Alice and Burl Doughty, Hattie and Emil Neumann, and uncles Hollis Doughty and Joe Basquez. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Floyd Doughty; his beloved son, Connor George Doughty; his parents, Marilyn and James Doughty of Mart, Texas; and his sister, Jennifer Baker, husband Drew, and their children Reid and Nolan of Richmond, Texas; In-laws, Judy and Dr. Don Floyd, Katie and Mark Floyd, and their children Caroline and Max, and Jana and Chris Hoisager, and their children Larson and Hattie. He also leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will carry his memory forward.
