John Gutierrez Alderete

John Alderete, 75, of Midland passed from this life on August 22, 2022. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 26, at 2:00pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel.

John leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Luisa; his sons Pete Aragon, Daniel Alderete (Crystal) and John Jr. Alderete. He was greeted by another son Carlos Aragon and now they are together again.

Instead of the norm we want to speak about, and to the amazing man we know as John, Tata, dad, Tio and many more.

To say this is the end is not what this is. This is a new beginning for an amazing, most humble man that made such a positive impact on so many. We find comfort knowing that you are where you are supposed to be on your path because you are too special not to be.

You served in the United States Army (Vietnam) and came back a changed man. We cannot imagine how that affected you but you, came home and proved to the world just how strong you are. We are here to cheer you on and pray we continue to make you proud.

We want you to know that we got this!! Miss you always, with all of our hearts!
