Joe Eddie Wood, 53, died March 2, 2009 at his home in Midland. His immediate survivors are his wife, Robin Coleman Wood, son Justin Wood and his wife Octavia Wood and grandson, Steven Wood. He is also survived by his mother, Sheila Ketcham, brother Gary Wood, and sisters Mitzi Stone and Belinda Hunt, and a host of loving friends. An informal gathering of family and friends will meet at the Inspiration Center at 4629 Andrews Hwy, Midland, to celebrate Joe's life at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 5, 2009 with Chaplain Larry Hood officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Stewart and Chester Sutton for their loving care during his illness.
