I'm a resident at the Riverstone Apts, where Joe worked. I came to know him over the last several years. He became a good friend, his warm sense of humor was like open arms to anyone he talked to. This is such a rare quality in people, because with him you knew it came from the heart. I have missed seeing him and talking to him over the last few months, but I knew he was in the care of the Lord. I shall miss him greatly and I send my sincerest condolences to all of his family and friends. It is like a light has been extinguished here on earth, but may they find peace and comfort that his light is burning brightly in the heavens. He will always be in my heart. God bless you Joe!

Even though Cho Cho was my nephew, I loved him like a son. As I think of the memories I have of him, my eyes fill up with tears. I am proud to have been a part of his life when he was growing up. I was so proud of all he accomplished in his life. He was always willing to help me with anything I asked of him. I loved sitting and talking to him; he always had such good conversation and a great sense of humor. I will miss him greatly for I have lost a great member of my family. You will forever be in my heart. I find comfort in knowing you are with Jesus now. Go in peace and become a soldier of Jesus Christ. I love you forever, Pino

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I had the pleasure of meeting Cho-Cho through the Lozano's, and am grateful for the short time we were blessed with his friendship. Even though we didn't know him very long, he offered to help my son with his new drum set, and showed genuine interest in his hobby. We will always remember his kindness.

I am so sorry to all the family...and friends...and everyone who Cho-Cho knew. He was the best uncle anyone could have because he was always there for me and my family no matter the extent of the problem. He was loving and kind to my daughters, Jazzy and Saree, one of whom he baptized (Jazzy). I always counted on him for advise on anything, and he always gave it to me up until his last days. He was always around for any occasion that our close friends saw him as their uncle as well. A room was always brighter with him in it because he always included everyone and was always so humurous even if there was tension. This is why I know in my heart he would like for all of us to rejoice in his eternal new life in our Lord's Kingdom because he is now and forever in peace and forever happy. I will miss you Cho-Cho, so very much, but I also look forward to seeing you in the future. I now cherish all the beautiful memories I had with you. I love you. Anna
