Mrs. Nash was my first grade teacher at College Heights Elementary and when I think of people in my life who impacted me the most, Mrs. Nash was at the top of the list. She was a special person for many people but she will always be close to my heart as one who helped shape me into the person I am today. We exchanged Christmas cards throughout my elementary and high school years and I cherished each one. She always put a smile on my face and she was a true blessing to most who ever met her. God bless her family during this time.

Dallas, Lynn and I are very so sorry for you loss but it is her gain that she is with Jesus right now. She has the eternal victory that we all eagerly await one day. Our permanent home is with the Father, which the glory is absoutely unexplainable to the human mind. Please give our condolences to Sandi and sons.. Love Jimmy and Lynn Wilson

Mr. & Mrs. Nash were our neighbors for years. I was unable to attend school for a couple of years due to cancer treatment. Mrs. Nash would come several times a week to check on my and bring her delicious homemade cookies. Mr. Nash could be seen nightly at the end of the street taking pictures of the sunset. They were such a sweet couple. I know they are both happily reunited together for eternity.

I met Joan 31 years ago when I started teaching at College Heights in Big Spring. I didn't get to know her well until 1982 when a group of retired teachers and a few who were still teaching started meeting after school for coffee once a week. A few years later when the last of the group retired, we changed our coffee sessions to lunch sessions at various restaurants. We eventually chose the Spanish Inn as "our place" and ate there every week for many years. In the beginning we sometimes had as many as a dozen in our group. We were a noisy bunch. There was always a lot of laughter and a good time was had by all. We looked forward to Thursdays and mexican food, with coffee and desert at someone's house after lunch. Eventually the years began to take their toll and with Joan's passing, there are now only three of us left. We were all sorry to see Joan leave Big Spring. We missed her very much and wanted to stay in touch, but even though we quit hearing from her after she moved to the nursing home, she was in our thoughts and prayers. Joan was a good neighbor and a good friend. She was proud of her family and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed. My condolences to the family and my best wishes to each of you for a healthy, happy future. Nelda Callarman

To Dallas and Sandi You have shown us again what it is like to walk in the presence of the Lord. Your grace and love was always visible as you cared for your mom and dad. May you continue to be in the presence of our Lord and glory be this day as your mom and dad are singing praises to Jesus together. Blessing from Rich and Suzan
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Mrs. Nash was my first grade teacher at College Heights. I loved her so much that on the last day of school that year, I cried all the way home. She was the sweetest person and my favorite teacher! It meant so much to me that as I became and adult and I saw her around town, that she remembered me and always gave me a hug. I will miss her! My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Nash's family.

I cant remember a time growing up that we didnt hear from or about Joan and Dallas. Maybe they are catching up on all the news with my grandmother, Bertha and my mom, June and all the many relatives that seem to be disappearing.

Aunt Joan was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I know .It never failed that most of my life i would reciece on my birthday and christmas a card with something in it. She even carried it over to my children as they were growing up. Joan will be sorely missed by all of us but I know that she has been welcomed into the Kingdom with open arms and my Dad gave her a great big Hug. I miss you Joan but i know you are in a better place Love Libby
