Jerod Michael Parks, 18, of Stanton, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Jerod was born September 5th, 2003, in Lubbock, Texas to Jimmy and Kathy Parks. Jerod grew up in Stanton, Texas and had many hobbies that brought him great joy. He graduated last year and was employed at Stanton IGA. He was an avid music lover and was a five plus year guitar student at Gary B’s, where he excelled. Jerod loved building intricate Lego sculptures, science, skateboarding, all things Marvel and Transformers, video games, and spending time with his family and friends. Jerod’s greatest accomplishment was being the most amazing son, little brother, and friend.
Jerod is survived by his dad and mom, Jimmy and Kathy Parks of Stanton, Texas; four brothers: Anthony Lopez and family of Stanton, Texas, Merced Lopez and family of Lubbock, Texas, Jeremy Parks and family of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Robert Parks and wife of Otis Orchards, Washington; two sisters: Jessica Kennemur and family of Big Spring, Texas and Lexi Parks of Eunice, New Mexico, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts.
Jerod is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A public visitation will take place Thursday, March 24th from 6-8pm, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch in Big Spring, Texas.
