Jeremy Alvin Sharp, 35, died January 13, 2014. He was born in Dumas, Texas, on March 15, 1978 to Jimmy J. Sharp and Deborah L. Weidler Sharp. The family moved to Midland from Dumas in 1978 where he grew up and attended Greenwood High School and received his GED from Midland College.Jeremy worked as an electrician for CA Electric. He loved motorcycles and motocross racing. He was a great friend to all and was a wonderful person who was respected in the community. He was a Baptist.Jeremy is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Deborah Sharp, sister Angela Jenkins, brother Matthew Sharp, nieces and nephews Brody Geer, Anna Sharp, Kolten Jenkins, Madison Jenkins, Micah Sharp-Holsenbeck and Darby Sharp-Holsenbeck, and a great nephew, Caleb Geer.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Bryan Jackson officiating.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
