Beloved son, brother, grandson and friend, Jeremiah Matthew Pallanes, passed away Friday November 9, 2018. He was 25.Jeremiah was born on August 16, 1993, in Midland, TX to Norman Pallanes and Jessie Martinez Pallanes-Rodriguez. Jeremiah attended Lee Senior High School, played JV football and graduated in 2011.Jeremiah will be remembered for many things; he was strong, handsome, courageous/brave. A risk taker, extremely determined, sometimes stubborn, but always loving. Jeremiah was the life of the party, he had the most contagious smile and his eyes were always filled with exuberance. He was a true man of God, a leader. God was always put first. He had many ambitions; a very entrepreneurial spirit. Proud owner of Happy Candy Vending and soon to be trucking company: West Texas Trucking, named after his father’s company. Everyone he encountered was touched and impacted in some way or another. He was a good man.Jeremiah is survived by his mother Jessie Rodriguez, his step-father Martin Rodriguez, and his siblings Zacariah Adam Pallanes, Jonathan Elijah Pallanes, John Michael Pallanes, and Hannah Angelina Pallanes. He is preceded in death by his father Norman Gerald Pallanes, his uncles Jason Pallanes, Roman Pallanes, his aunt Patsy Martinez, his grandfather Isabel “Chester” Pallanes, and his grandmother Angelita Martinez.A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel.
