Jean was very active in and around the home. She had a real passion for art/painting and decorating. She loved to decorate her dining table to reflect the theme of each season and event of the year, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. Her last decoration is for Valentine’s Day. Jean also had a passion and love for flowers and plants.
Jean’s husband went to work for El Paso Natural Gas Company in February, 1956 and worked for the company for 40 years. After moving to Midland, Jean became associated with the GLC TV station as one that serviced phone calls.
Jean was a great cook and housekeeper. Proverbs 31:27 describes her best, “She looketh well to the ways of her household and eateth not the bread of idleness.”
Jean’s death came rather suddenly and unannounced due to Lymphoma Cancer. She did not want to go through the prescribed treatment.
Jean’s present state is that she is “asleep in Christ” and awaits that great day when the trumpet shall sound and the “dead in Christ” will come forth from the grave. Even so come quickly. Amen
