Jean L. Prince, 79, of Midland, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017.Jean was born September 10, 1937 to Lillian and Herbert Barthen in Chicago, IL. She received her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and her master’s degree from the University of California. Jean’s career was as a teacher and administrator to deaf children.Jean is survived by her husband, James (Jim) Prince of Midland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian and Herbert Barthen and her brother, Raymond.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals, 4200 N Fairgrounds RD, Midland, TX 79705.Arrangements were under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
