Janet Anita Huebner

Janet Anita Huebner, 85, of Midland, TX passed away at Midland Memorial Hospital on February 16, 2018 after a short illness. Private services will be held at a later date.Janet was born in Osborne, KS on November 1, 1932 to Orville and Pauline Hook.Proud of her Kansas heritage, Janet was born during the depression and the dust bowl, and marveled at the resiliency and tenacity of her parents and neighbors.Janet attended Hays State University. She married William (Bill) Huebner on July 14, 1962, with whom she has one son, Charles (Chuck) Huebner, of Lafayette, LA. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, having visited over 70 countries.She is survived by her husband, Bill, son Chuck, daughter-in-law, Mary, and by her grandson, William, who was the love of her life.She is preceded in death by her parents and baby sister, Iris.The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Midland Memorial Hospital, specifically her nurse Andres Barraza, and Dr. Robert Vogel.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
