On Saturday morning, September 25, 2021, James Wesley (Wes) Tune opened his eyes, in his new forever home, to Glory unimaginable and met his Savior, Jesus Christ, face to face.

Wes was born March 27, 1959, in Andrews Texas and was raised by his loving parents, Richard C and Betty Joan Tune, in Lamesa Texas. He graduated from Angelo State University with a Business degree in 1982 and had a career in the Commercial Real Estate industry for over 30 years.

Wes married his soulmate and wife, Stellyce on September 24, 1988, and together they have raised a family with their two children, Lauren Shoemaker and Joshua (Caylen) Tune.

Wes is survived by his wife of 33 years, Stellyce, his daughter Lauren, her husband, Jarett Shoemaker and their two children Addison and Landon Shoemaker, and by his son Caylen, his wife Jaci Tune and their two children Cayden and Trinity Tune, as well as a multitude of family members and friends.

We take comfort in the fact that Wes was also welcomed to his new home by his parents, grand-parents, aunts and uncles and numerous loved ones that have gone before him.

So sorry to hear about Wes. He was a good guy growing up in Lamesa. We weren't close but I knew him to be an honest and good person.

Wes was a great man and I feel lucky to have known him. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in Peace Wes.

RIP Wes

Wes was a friend. Mostly from middle school days. We hung out together around his neighborhood. One thing makes me think of him each time I have some. He talked me in to trying French onion dip at his house. I was picky, but tried it, and liked it, a lot. It's a little thing, but brings him to mind. Truly, truly one of the kindest most polite friends ever. Wish we had continued our friendship, as he would have been a good influence.

My heart goes out to the family! I had the good fortune of meeting with Wes and working on a current development with him. He was a good man will be missed. Grace and Peace! Tony

I met Wes the first day I started 10th grade. We were both in band. He started messing with me on day one. I laughed with him the next 3 years. I last saw him at the Jubilee in 2015, stilling laughing. He made my starting a new school awesome! I'll miss his good heart.

My heart is aching for all who knew and loved Wes. He was taken to soon. I know he is rejoicing with all our family that went before. This is not goodbye Wes, but till we meet again. ❤️🙏🏻🌹💐
