My heart goes out to the family for their loss and I’d love to hear from any of them. I met James when I was 12. He gave me a summer job at his shop. Cindy was pregnant with Tim and Steph was about 4? I traveled around with James delivering gears. I learned a lot from him. I was a young man looking for guidance and he unknowingly gave me the tools I need to be a man, a business man and a father. He showed me how to play golf and took me every week. He called me LB ( little buddy). He literally changed the course of my life and I’m so blessed to have been in his life. I’m sorry to say that we fell out of touch. I’m just learning of his passing and if any family members read this I would love to hear from you Sincerely, Jerry Stephens

We've done business with Newton Machine Works since we started in 2005 and some of us prior to that. James was always a pleasure to work with. I even had the opportunity to golf with him and David a couple of times. He was a great man and a fantastic machinist. He will be greatly missed.
