James Glen Carrigan, 79, longtime resident of Big Spring, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 1, 2024 at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
Glen was born April 23, 1944 in Houston, Texas to parents Mary Jane (Pope) and Theodore Carrigan. He married Ivy Lee, sharing 35 years together. He was an Audiologist at Southwest College for the Deaf for many years. He also signed for the deaf at Hillcrest Baptist Church as well as helped in the deaf ministry. Glen loved the Lord and served Him faithfully.
Glen is survived by his wife Ivy of Big Spring; his children: Brian Glover of Odessa and Michelle Glover of Big Spring; his grandchildren: Myra Minnick, James Armentrout, Brittany Armentrout, Tanya Sanchez, and Dustin Glover all of Odessa; great grandchildren: Connor Goltl, Mason Sanchez, Eymber Goltl and Paisley Minnick; sisters: Lynette Mclaine of Oklahoma and Margie Carrigan of Ft. Worth and one brother Donald Carrigan of Ft. Wayne. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ted and Mary Jane Carrigan.
