Hoylene Nix, 65, lost her battle after a lengthy illness on September 6, 2022 but gained her glorious destination in Heaven. She was surrounded by family and friends that graciously shared the end of her Life’s Journey.
Hoylene will be greatly missed by All that knew and loved her. She was a Strong willed, Meticulous, Kindhearted and Generous woman with an infectious smile and laugh. Hoylene was born September 3, 1957, in Howard County where she resided until 1997 when she relocated to the Fort Worth area. She worked in the Medical Field as a Medical Transcriptionist, Human Resource Representative, Training Coordinator, Assistant Director of Nurses and Director of a Medical Facility for 45 years until retiring in 2020. Hoylene loved life and lived it to the fullest with family and friends, in her love for
Country Music (especially Hoyle and Jody Nix), and her Travel Adventures.
She is survived by a daughter, Stepheny Nix; two brothers, Larry (Bobbie wife) Nix, Jody Nix; three sisters, Jo Ellen Canales, Robin Walker, Beverly (Harry husband) Jones; Stepfather, Gene Dixon; several Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, and several very Special Friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hoyle Nix and mother, Frances Dixon.
The Family expresses a special appreciation and gratitude to those who were a part of her Life’s Journey.
The Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or a Charity of choice.
