Henry Jesse Vasquez II, 52 of Midland, passed away on Saturday, December 21st. A visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M on Monday, December 30th at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory.

Henry Jesse Vasquez II was born on January 17th in San Antonio, Texas to Henry J. Vasquez and Irma M. Overton. Henry grew up and graduated from Lee High School in Midland, Texas. After the birth of his first son, Henry enlisted in the Marine Corp, a few years later, welcoming a second son. He was a sports fanatic bleeding UT orange as well as a genuine Yankees fan.

Henry is survived by mother-Irma Overton, dad- Henry Vasquez I, son & daughter in law- Nathan & Krishna Vasquez, son & daughter in law- AJ & Kalee Vasquez, brother-Jeffery Vasquez, brother & sister in law- Ryan & Valerie Overton, nieces- Neveah & Amri Overton, nephew-Ryan Overton II, sister -Erica Overton, nephews-Manny and Sebastian Meza, niece- Gabby Bordayo granddaughter-Kendall Vasquez, granddaughter- Hannah Vasquez.

Henry is preceded in death by grandfather -Pedro G. Montemayor, grandmother-Maria V. Montemayor, step-father- Robert J. Overton, aunt-Hilda M. Montemayor, aunt- Rosalinda R. Rodriguez. grandfather- Jesse Ramirez Vasquez, grandmother-Florabel M. Vasquez.

Little Henry is how we knew him. Our family and my compadres family were close. On Sunday after mass we would stop by our compadres to have coffee and sweet bread. Our girls would play with little Henry and Jeffery. So many great memories with him. We are so sad to hear about his passing. May he rest peacefully with God.
