Helen Jean Neill

Helen Jean (Hopper) Neill, 94, passed away Friday morning, May 31, 2024 in Big Spring, Texas.

Helen was born December 1, 1929 in Big Spring, Texas to Carl and Estelle Hopper. She married Curtis Neill on November 14, 1953. She worked as a bookkeeper doing income tax returns and as a telephone operator, but mostly was a homemaker and loved her yard work and flowers. Helen was a Christian and loved watching old movies and fishing. She was a lifetime resident of Howard County and enjoyed her many nieces and nephews.

Helen is survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Neill, her parents, one brother Norman Hopper Sr. and two sisters, Billie Hopper and Pauline Dodson Weaver.

A come and go visitation will be Monday, June 3, 2024 until 5:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park.
