Harrald Wade Shanks, 89, of Big Spring, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Monday, March 21, 2022, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Wade was my next door neighbor. We enjoyed his company. He would come visit, and everytime he got ready to leave he would say “ well I better go and see what Dorothy is gonna have me doing” He loved Dorothy they left everyday about the sametime like clock work to go get dinner He was such a good person.

I was fortunate to have known Wade when I worked for Sherwin Williams when it was on Third street as well as Gregg St.
Wade was a regular at the store and was super soft spoken and a good Christian man. I was also fortunate to see him not too long ago at the rest home and at first I didn’t recognize him until Shirley and Kevin came in. It was sure a pleasant visit!!
