Guadalupe Rosas, 60, of Big Spring, died on Saturday, September 8, 2001, in an Austin, Texas hospital. A prayer service will be at 7:00 PM Monday at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 11, 2001, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Carlos Payen, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on October 16, 1940 in Acuna, Mexico and married Jose Rosas, Sr. on September 10, 1960 in Del Rio, Texas. She was a member of Birdwell Lane Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Jose Rosas, Sr. of Big Spring; three daughters, Emma Gomez of Austin, Gracie Zavala of Benjamin and Vicky Halfmann of Cortez, Colorado; two sons, Jose Rosas, Jr. and Sergio Rosas both of Big Spring; two sisters, Maria Flores of Big Lake and Maria de Jesus Chavez of Acuna, Mexico; three brothers, Daniel Zavala, Tomas Zavala and Alejandro Zavala all of Del Rio; and eleven grandchildren.
