Geraldine Gaines Rudd

Geraldine Gaines Rudd, age 77 of Big Spring, TX passed away, Wednesday, November 17, 2021. She was born in Gorman, TX on July 5, 1944. She was a graduate of Coahoma High School. She was a long-time member of East 4th Street Baptist Church. She had a heart for the children’s ministry and served for many years in the Nursery/Preschool Ministry at East 4th Street Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Garland Joe Rudd, parents Edward and Leetie Placker Gaines, her siblings Jackie Gaines and Faye Gaines.
She is survived by three siblings, Sue Mitchell, Edward Ray Gaines, James Gaines and his wife, Dawn; three sons, Thomas Rudd and his wife, Erica; Chad Rudd and his wife, Miranda; Garland Shane Rudd and his wife, Lori; 11 grandchildren, Brock Heffington and wife Maggie, Lacy Miles and husband Garrett, Leann Rudd, Jacob Rudd, Andrew Rudd, Jonathan Rudd, Alex Rudd, Summer Rodriguez and husband John, Maddelyn Rudd, Jacob Tarbet, and Sarah Tarbet; six great grandchildren, Sareth, Melody, Bo, Warden, Baylor, Danni Rose and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30pm Monday, November 22, 2021 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home 909 S Gregg St. Big Spring, TX 79720.
