George Bradley Herricks passed away on May 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 85 years old.
Born on August 20, 1939, Bradley lived a full and meaningful life centered on family, friendship, and his faith. On December 31, 1959, he married the love of his life, Carolyn Herricks. Their 65 years of marriage were a testament to enduring love and partnership.
Bradley was a devoted father to his son, Bobby Herricks, and cherished his daughter-in-law, Laura. He was a proud grandfather to Teryn (Ben) Griffin, Justin (Magi) Herricks, and Brandon (Michaela) Herricks. His legacy continues through his many great-grandchildren: Cadon, Jackson, and Mitchell Griffin; Dailey, Everley, and Jett Bradley Herricks; and Bobby Shaw Herricks. His special companion Tudor Tank also brought so much joy to his life.
He found great joy in spending time with his family, especially out at the ranch in Coleman. He also enjoyed his time at Winkler County Country Club, Mission Dorado, and Horseshoe Bay with Bobby, Kelly, Kid, Balz, Filipe’, E, Scrog, Lope, Massey, Cap, Timothy, Spike, Colter, Barber and many others. Whether sharing stories, teaching life lessons, or simply enjoying a cocktail, Bradley’s presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Bradley is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Estel Herricks, and his brother, W.C. Herricks.
His steady love, wisdom, and humor will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
