Gary Donald Coe, Sr., 64, of Midland, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011. Gary was born August 11, 1947 in Washington, D.C. to Mildred J. (Hiner) and Donald J. Coe. He married Rhonda D. Kellas on December 8, 1973 in Fort Worth.Gary entered into the ministry at an early age. He pastored several churches, evangelized in the states and abroad, and served with International Bible schools in Jamaica. He then returned to the Midland area in 2002, serving as Chaplain to Prime Time Christian Broadcasting, as well as helping local ministries. He blessed and enriched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.Survivors include wife, Rhonda Coe of Midland; son and wife, Gary Donald, Jr. and Melissa Coe of Midland; son and wife, Kyle and Alice Coe of Dallas; daughter and husband, Tiffany and John Crabtree of Tulsa, OK; sister and husband, Gayle and Jerry Ledyard of Salado, TX; grandmother, Dorothy Hiner of Lakeland, FL; 6 grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Coe in 1983 and his father, Donald Coe in 2006.A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 24, 2011 at Living Way Foursquare Church, 419 Alta Avenue.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
