Frankie Chris Escontrias, 62 years old of El Paso, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 20th. Public viewing will be held from 12:00-6:00 pm on Thursday, March 25th, followed by Rosary services from 7:00-8:00 pm at the Branch at npw, 3800 N Big Spring Street in Midland. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 26th at St. Ann’s Catholic Church at 1:00 pm.
Frank was born on September 10th, 1958 in El Paso, TX to Eufracio and Fransisca Escontrias. After graduating from Ysleta High School, Frank began a forty-year career in Sales and Logistics operations. In 2015, Frank and his wife, Sandra relocated to Midland, TX, where he was employed by the City of Midland. Frank was a collector of treasures, enjoyed fishing, and had an immense passion for music. He will be remembered by his loving wife of forty years, his two daughters, Dorothy and Stephanie, and his Son-In-Law Joshua. His playful spirit will live on through his Granddaughter Zooey Marie.
Frank is preceded by his parents, Eufracio and Fransisca, his brothers Mike, Eufracio Jr., and his sister Dora Becerra.
Frank is survived by his wife Sandra, his daughters, Dorothy Gomez, and Stephanie Escontrias, his son-in-law Joshua Gomez, and his granddaughter Zooey Gomez; along with his siblings, Martha, Refugio, Julian and Juan Escontrias.
