Flossie was always so nice to all of us.. My first memories of her were in 1948 at Holy Trinity when Troop 16 Girl Scouts of America “Flew up” in the main church. Our Brownie troop (later Girl Scout Troop) met in the Parish Hall at the church. She was getting ready to go off somewhere to travel or study. She helped Mrs. Spires with lining us up. She was a teenager and we were 10 years old. We wanted to grow up and be just like her. Nice lady!!
