Fay Ruth Fine Hall, 84, of Midland, passed away on October 5, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland.Fay was born on October 4, 1934 in Posey, Texas to Calvin and Ruth Fine.She moved to Midland in 1951 to work for Kimball’s. She married Allen D. “Skeet” Hall February 9, 1952. They had 3 daughters together. She worked for various companies before starting AFTAH Printing with her husband in 1973, which she continued to operate as a broker after Skeet’s death in 1995. She also worked several part-time jobs during that time, including Ranchland Hills Country Club where she made a lot of friends, who she missed dearly after she left there.Fay loved Thanksgiving and Christmas and enjoyed having the whole family gather for those holidays. She adored her daughters, including her step-daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was very creative and loved making personal greeting cards and stationery. She was an amazing woman and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers, two sisters, and grandson Neil Harris.She is survived by her daughters, Terry Harris of New Braunfels, Lana Lange (Skyler) and Holly Myrick (Steve Hammel) of Midland; step-daughter, Karen Sheppard of Denton, seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, sisters Dorothy Dearman of Amarillo and Janice Kadlecek of Citrus Heights, CA, and numerous nieces and nephews.The family would like to thank Dr. P.K. Patel, and the staff members at Midland Memorial Hospital, Ashton Place, and Hospice.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Association.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
