Everette J. Horn, 65, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, April 19, 2001, in a local hospital. Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, April 23, 2001, at Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Don Snipes, pastor of Baptist Temple Church, officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the U. S Army Detachment from Goodfellow A.F.B. in San Angelo. Everette was born on July 19, 1935 in Stanton, Texas and married Ellinor D. Berdahla on November 16, 1964 in Germany. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corp, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Army and also served in the National Guard. He worked for 23 years at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in the engineering department before retiring in 1991. He was a Baptist. Survivors include: his wife, Ellinor K. Horn of Big Spring, one step-son, Klaus H. Quernheim of Abilene, 3 grandchildren, Michelle Murphee, Michael Thompson, and Kristina Quernheim all of Big Spring, 6 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, Paul Horn, and Claudie Horn and his wife Patsy, all of Big Spring, and Larry Horn of Austin, two sisters, Sugar Brown and her husband L.J., and Dorothy Hannabass all of Big Spring. The family of Mr. Horn will be at 500 Dallas St. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.,
