I'm so sorry for the passing of such a beautiful, loving women and God Mother of mine. Also, so sorry to be so far away in Canada. Sending special Love and wishes to Julie and Troy and know that we will all reunite after we all leave this life and that she is at long last with her love Byron and her beloved Mother, Father and Jimmy, as we all will be one glorious day. Remember to not only grieve, but just as importantly to celebrate and laugh/cry over all the wonderful gifts of her life.

BHS Golden Eagle Band was our initial connection but an indescribable heart connection begun in those young years continued over the years without reconnecting until these later years. How grateful I am for having known sweet Elizabeth (Sissy as I knew her then) & sharing a memorable visit in her gracious home. Blessings to all who knew & loved her too. My sincerest condolences.
Annette Taylor Wells left a message on June 28, 2022:
Elizabeth was always "Sissy" to me. We were assigned to be roommates when we entered Texas Woman's University in the fall of 1957 and became life-long friends. I loved her and I loved her family, especially her parents. They were such intelligent and gracious people, traits that totally transferred to her and marked her life. Through the years, we kept in touch; then in 2007 we attended our class' 50th reunion in Denton and once again were roommates. It was as if no time had passed. I know that she left a huge footprint in this life and that heaven is rejoicing.

We all have lost an incredible woman. Elizabeth was so strong and beautiful inside and out. She was a servant of the Lord in every sense. I will cherish the conversations I had with her and miss her no nonsense attitude! My family was blessed by her friendship. We will not be able to make the service, but our love and prayers will be present. Our deepest symathies, Diane Utsman and family
