Dorothy Jean Holland, 78, of Big Spring, died on Monday, January 10, 2005, at the Home Hospice House of Odessa. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 13, 2005 at Sunset Memorial Gardens of Odessa with Elwin Collum, Home Hospice Chaplain officiating. The family will recieve friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.She was born on November 7, 1926, in Anson.She was a Baptist.Mrs. Holland was a homemaker. She was a member of the DAV Auxiliary, Eagles Lodge, and Spring City Stompers. She volunteered at the V.A. Hospital for many years. Dorothy Jean loved people, line dancing, and her cat "Bright Eyes".Survivors include many close friends and step nieces and nephews.The family suggests memorials be made to Home Hospice House, 903 N.
