Dear Don & Neal, My heartfelt thoughts are with you, I enjoyed the time I spent with your mom, we had a lot of fun together and became very close, she talked a lot about you and neal and your sister. Mostly about your childhood and what dear little boys you were and into mean- ness at times also. Remember the "house that raised you"! She loved you dearly, and at times I know she said things that hurt you and made you mad but that was not Dorris, that was the failing mind of old age. Not the strong mother that made you what you are today. She let me read a letter from your dad before they were married, while he was overseas. He said all he wanted was a place out in the country where he could raise his sons to be good men. And to be with his bride. He and she did that! They say God puts you where he wants you to be! He put me with Doris in the latter part of her life, and I tried to make it pleasant for her, I loved her too. Thank you!
