Dolores Mary Schaedel

Dolores Mary Schaedel, age 91 of Big Spring passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Trinity Memorial Park.

She will lie in state on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 1:00pm to 9:00pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

Dolores was born on July 29, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Arthur Velma Kennett and Josephine (Tacki) Kennett.

She enjoyed going out camping, fishing, and playing bridge. She was very active at the Senior Citizen Center when it was at the base, and volunteered at the hospital as a “Pink Lady.”
Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth and Karen Schaedel of Big Spring, TX; daughter, Lynn Schaedel of Prosper, TX; grandchildren: Rendi and Eric Hernandez of Hunstville, Alabama, Courtney and Blake Liston of Howe, TX, Kelli and Clayton Kitchens of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Lori and Chris Robertson of Prosper, TX; great grandchildren: Garrett Kelsey of Huntsville, Alabama, Kaysen Jonas, Kayleigh Jonas, Scarlette Robertson all of Prosper, TX, and Cody James Liston of Howe, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Albert Schaedel; parents, Arthur and Josephine Kennett; brothers: Clay Kennett, George Kennett, and Melvin Kennett.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to a charity of your choosing.
