Dewey Wayne Snodgrass

Dewey Wayne Snodgrass, age 74, of Midland, passed away March 12, 2025 surrounded by his family.  Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the VFW Post 7208, 1306 E Taylor Avenue in Midland.

Dewey was born November 13, 1950 in Lamesa, Texas to Dora A. and Dave Clifton Snodgrass, both of Midland.  His childhood was spent in Midland, Texas.  He was in the United States Army 82^nd Airborne.  He enjoyed gambling and going to the casino.  He was a big history buff.  Dewey loved his grandbaby most of all.  He was always rhyming and making people laugh.

Dewey is survived by his son Larry Wayne Snodgrass of Midland, one granddaughter Kassidy Brianne Snodgrass of Midland, one sister Donna Lewis and husband David of Midland, and several nieces and nephews.

Dewey is preceded in death by his parents David and Dora Snodgrass, his first wife Gloria Diane Snodgrass, his brothers, Hite Dewey Snodgrass, Charles Clifton Snodgrass, and Darrel Sherwood Snodgrass, his four sisters, Lucille Culp, Martha Mauldon, Barbara Prestridge, and Ruth Dalton.

The family would like to express their gratitude to hospice and all the friends and family that came and helped during this time.
