Dennis was born on November 4, 1959 in Lubbock, Texas to Earl Buford Moize and Hazel Waunell Medlock Moize. He was raised in Lubbock with his 2 sisters and brother. He surrendered his life to follow Christ when he was at a young age. Dennis is one of those people that would leave you feeling like you were in the presence of an Angel sent from God. Once you met him your life would be changed for the better. He was a testimony of his faith and how to treat people. We all grew up going to 25th Street Baptist Church in Lubbock. As a young teenager, he started volunteering with Dad on the church bus and eventually taking over, he loved working in Junior church and assisted with picking up some of our special elderly for services. He was a member of Kelview Heights Baptist in Midland since 1983. Dennis started working in the cabinet shop with Dad at an early age. He did amazing work with his carpentry skills. Not only was his work so professional but again it opened another door to share his love of Christ and his testimony. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved music, especially older hymns and classic country but it was amazing the knowledge he had on Pop/rock 50’s – 70’s.
Dennis is survived by his mother Waunell Moize, his sisters DeeLana and Ruthie (David), Sheila (Al), his brother Kevan, his nieces Stacy, Kristan, and his nephews Nathan, Devan and Paul Allen (Ruth).
Dennis is preceded in death by his dad (Earl), his brother (Warren), his Niece (Mandy) and his nephew SSGT Jason Allen Reeves.
