Deneise Murphy Reid, 75 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 19, 2021.

Deneise was born in Monahans, Texas on December 7, 1945 to Wince L and Loma Murphy. She married Philip Reid on August 31, 1962 and they had two wonderful children, Leneise and Rich Reid.

Deneise built a wonderful loving home and she did exceedingly well at anything she attempted. Deneise was the best cook, seamstress, knitter, stained glass maker, quilter, librarian and artist, just to name a few. Most of all Deneise was Phil’s soul mate and his true North!

She is survived by her loving husband Philip of 58 years and two loving children, Leneise Reid of Midland, TX. and Rich Reid of Lake Mary, Fl.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wince L and Loma Murphy and brother, Prince B. Murphy.

Nalley-Pickle and Welch https://npwelch.com/ will handle all the arrangements to transport Deneise to San Angelo, TX for burial at Fairmount Cemetery on Wednesday June 23, 2021. We should arrive by 1:30 PM.

This will be a closed casket grave side service with Pastor Jay Johnson of the San Angelo Cowboy Church presiding. The family requests that you do not drive a long way to attend as this will be a short funeral. You may leave a message or sign the guest book online. Thank you so much for respecting our privacy.

Dress code is informal (jeans and shirts) it is way too hot for coats and ties.

Three brothers have had the blessing of life-long partners in marriage. All were teenagers when these unions began and they have endured with joy, children and enjoyable old age. Denise was the first to leave us and we take comfort in that she is in a divine place She will be sorely missed by her family. God bless our sister-in-law Denise and you, Phil our faithful and true brother.
